PHOTOGRAPHY, CONTENT CREATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
I’ve been working closely with the owners to develop and grow the MOOTZ brand across Instagram and TikTok, focusing on improving the overall visual aesthetic and online presence. Striving to strike the right balance between clean, atmospheric visuals and genuine personality across all social media platforms.
A main goal for me at MOOTZ was to showcase our huge, delicious sandwiches through clean, eye-catching visuals (adding food styling and photography to the list of new skills I’ve developed in this role).
I loved combining a dark, atmospheric aesthetic full of personality for the in-store photography with a clean, bright aesthetic for the product shots, creating a distinctive visual contrast.
On top of managing the existing Instagram, I created a TikTok to help diversify our posting. Our wanted to created som more fun, behind-the-scenes and comedy led content to natural fits the TikTok style posting.
Savage collective
POP UP SHOP POSTER DESIGN
Savage collective is a group of curated Edinburgh designers. I helped the owner in a last minute quick turn around project for her pop up shop and opening party, creating two posters that were fun bright and colourful. The owner loved the Jacquemus butter and toast photography ads so we went with that idea, and I created a graphics based very with her logo burnt on toast and stamped on butter.
I created the posters in layouts both suitable for print and social media. Providing an array of options to use the assets on her instagram, ensuring they worked for both the grid and stories.
BULK
JUNIOR DESIGNER - IN HOUSE
Bulk was an incredible learning experience for me. I jumped right in with a small, dynamic team to help create static and animated content for web, email, social media, and print — all of which taught me the fundamentals of using the Adobe Suite and AI image tools in a professional setting. I also had the chance to get involved in some really fun projects, including working on shoots and collaborating with the brand, UX/UI, and CRM teams to curate and execute creative campaigns, as well as refine the website’s design. Bulk was a perfect fit for me, as it allowed me to combine my passion for sport and an active lifestyle with my creativity.
beavertown
PERSONAL PROJECT - UNIVERSITY BRIEF
This illustration project was a brand-focused brief I completed while studying at university. The task was to create a campaign for an existing brand connected to an environmental cause. As a big fan of Beavertown’s branding, I chose to build on their distinctive style, aiming to replicate their illustrative aesthetic in a new IPA concept that raises awareness about protecting kelp forests from trawling.
